SBI Apprentice 2020 Notification: The State Bank of India has released the notification for 8500 Apprentice posts recruitment on its official website sbi.co.in. All the interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply online for SBI Apprentice 2020 from 20th November to 10th December 2020. The training period under this apprentice notification is three years and all the selected apprentices should be willing to qualify in the examinations of IIBF (JAIIB/CAIIB) during 3 years apprenticeship engagement in the Bank.

- Open the appropriate Online Application Form, available in the ‘Current Openings’.
- Fill the SBI Apprentice Recruitment application carefully
- Once you filled the form, a registration number and password will be generated by the system, note down the registration number and password. You can edit the application form through this credential.
- After completion of Application form, pay the fee.

SBI Apprentice Vacancy 2020
The SBI has released the Apprentice notification for 8500 posts in different states. Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Candidates can appear for the SBI Apprentice examination only once under this engagement project.
SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2020
Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of local language.
i. Online written test:
The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows.

The questions will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi, except for the test of General English. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the
Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subject. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off point) such candidate will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.
ii. Test of local language:
The specified local languages of the states are as mentioned in Para A of the advertisement. The candidates applying for vacancies of a
particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) of the specified local language of that State as mentioned
in Para A of the advertisement. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will
be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice.
Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be
required to undergo the language test. Candidates will have to appear for the test of specified opted local language at a centre (to be decided
by the Bank) of the State applied for, at his/her own expenses.
iii. Medical Examination:
Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
Final Selection will be subject to:
a) Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
b) Qualifying in test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.
c) Declared fit in the Medical examination.
However, SBI shall have no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices during and/or after the completion of the apprenticeship period. After completion of Apprenticeship period, candidates will be relieved from the respective work area.
SBI Apprentice WAIT LIST:
A Wait list (State-category wise) will be maintained for one year from the date of result of the engagement of apprentices or next engagement
exercise, whichever is earlier. Candidates will be released only once from this waitlist against non-joining subject to availability of qualified
candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for SBI Apprentice 2020
Age: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 31.10.2020
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION as on 31.10.2020: Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.

SBI Apprentice Salary 2020
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month during 1st year, Rs.16500/- per month during 2nd year and Rs.19000/- per
month during 3rd year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
